Robert Rash

President / CEO

Rob earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in 1982. He then worked as a Software Engineer in the high tech and telecom industries for the next several years. In that role, he developed software products and lead several successful software implementation projects.

In 1985, Rob joined Rash & Associates and took responsibility for the company’s information technology projects. In that role he developed much of the property tax software that enabled Rash & Associates to provide superior service through excellent technology. In 1989, he transitioned into a client service role, working with our clients to manage their property tax needs. He successfully represented our clients nationwide, meeting with assessors and boards of review to secure fair property valuations.

Rob joined the international consulting firm, KPMG Consulting, in 1995 (now known as BearingPoint, Inc.), where he was eventually promoted to Sr. Manager in the Business Development organization. In that role, he was responsible for assessing clients’ needs and developing solutions in the areas of management strategy, business process re-engineering, customer relationship management, supply chain management and information technology. His focus was on Fortune 1000 firms in the retail, high tech, manufacturing and telecom industries. Rob was directly responsible for the sales of over $50 million in new services for the firm while employed there.

In January 2002, Rob re-joined Rash & Associates as Vice President of Operations, where he was directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of all facets of the business. Throughout 2002, Rob transitioned into a greater leadership role, culminating into becoming President of Rash & Associates. As President, he is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the firm’s corporate strategy to ensure superior customer service, consistent annual growth and increasing profitability.

Rob is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. He is also a member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals and is a licensed Property Tax Consultant in the State of Texas.
