Property Tax Alert–Louisiana

A rule that has been in effect on an emergency basis since December 20, 2004, has been issued in order for Louisiana property tax assessment tables to be disseminated to property owners and local tax assessors no later than the statutory valuation date of record of January 1, 2005. Cost indexes were provided to the Louisiana Department of Revenue in October 2004.
