Property Tax Alert: Illinois

Rules governing several procedural aspects of practice before the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board have been amended, enacted, or renumbered. New and amended rules relate to, among other things, service of copies of motions, the Board's subpoena powers, notice of changes in representation, consolidation of appeals, the effect of notice to a contesting party's attorney on the party, attorneys' appearance as both an advocate and a witness, and requests for witness lists.
