Williamson County is removed from the process of direct appeal of Tennessee property tax valuations to the state board of equalization. Therefore, property tax assessment appeals for industrial and commercial real and tangible personal property in Williamson County must be heard by the local board of equalization before they are heard by the state board of equalization.
