The 2008 interest components of capitalization rates have been released for use in the California property tax valuation of (1) enforceably restricted historical property and (2) open-space land. In each instance, the 2008 rate was unchanged from the 2007 rate of 6.75% for the historical property and 4.5% for open-space land.
