Property Tax Alert: Idaho

The Idaho State Tax Commission has temporarily revised two property tax rules related to budget certification in order to conform them to recent legislative enactments. One regulation now reflects the removal of new construction within a revenue allocation area from any budget growth formula until that area is dissolved. The other regulation, as amended, now provides directions for calculating the maximum property tax funds to be maintained in a school district's tort funds.
