The California State Board of Equalization (SBE) has updated its state-assessed property instructions so that they are current for the January 1, 2008, property tax lien date. Properties at issue are electric generation companies, gas and electric companies, telephone companies — local exchange carriers, intercounty pipelines and watercourses, telephone companies — radio common carriers, rail car maintenance facilities, railroad companies, telecommunications carriers, telephone companies — telecommunications resellers, and telephone companies — wireless carriers and resellers.
